Where affiliate links appear

• Affiliate links appear in our vinyl & listening gear guides, next to a disclosure box.
• Buttons that go to Amazon say so (“Check availability on Amazon”) and open in a new tab. They’re marked in the page code as sponsored.
• Our music writing doesn’t contain affiliate links. We’ll only link a specific vinyl or CD edition once we’ve confirmed the edition and that it’s available, and it will be marked the same way.

How it affects recommendations

Commissions don’t decide what we recommend. We include products because they fit the reader’s situation, and we list each one’s limitations. No brand pays for placement. We base gear recommendations on published specifications and compatibility research; we haven’t lab-tested these products, and we say so in each guide.

Prices and availability

We don’t display prices, ratings or delivery claims, because they change constantly. Check the current details on Amazon before you buy. We periodically recheck that linked products are still available and remove links that no longer qualify.
